Overview of an order-to-warehouse automation project built to simplify order handling, improve dispatch visibility and reduce manual processing time.
Overview
This project focused on simplifying a time-sensitive order flow between sales planning and warehouse execution. The existing process involved repeated manual checks, fragmented updates and slower turnaround for routine order placement. I helped design a cleaner workflow using Google Sheets, automation logic and API-based triggers so that teams could place, track and prioritise orders with much less manual effort.
My Role
I worked on the business logic, sheet structure, status flow and automation rules that connected order capture with warehouse action. The aim was to make the process faster, easier to monitor and more reliable for daily operations.
Outcome
The final system reduced order placement time to roughly 10 seconds, improved visibility across the workflow and created a more practical process for day-to-day execution.
